Week 7 Bulletin is Online Now

The welcoming performance our resident musicians gave at Orientation this morning, was but a preview of the talent they will showcase at next week’s Annual Music Concert spectacular: High School Music-All.  Put Thursday 15 September in your calendars now – tickets will be available at the door.

In other news this week:

  • The winners of the Book Week Primary Writing Competition are published.

  • We celebrate the students’ commendable results in the Australian Geography Competition

  • The Visual Arts faculty reports on some students’ entry into the annual Mark Butler Art Award

  • SAPSASA Athletics Carnival results are in

  • The SDPC Tuckshop requests volunteers on a 1-2 times per term rotation (Tuesday or Friday shifts, 10:30am – 1:30pm).

Fete Appeals

Whilst this week’s Fete Appeal is for the Asian Foods Stall, did you know that our specialty stalls are always happy and willing to take donations?:

  •     Items for the Classic Treasures Stall

  •     handmade crafts, knitwear, cards, wooden toys etc for the Craft Stall (new in 2016)

  •     unused / unwanted gift items for prize baskets for the Silent Auction or Chocolate Wheel

  •     additional books, CDs, DVDs & Magazines for the Book Stall

  •     Larger items: Holiday house accommodations, vouchers, tickets – goods & services – to be in the main Auction
