St Dominic, our College's patron, valued study throughout his life. It is our hope that the curriculum at St Dominic's Priory College will lead our students to a similar enthusiasm for learning. We seek to provide students with relevant educational experiences that will prepare them for life in a rapidly changing world and encourage them to be principled, active and thoughtful citizens. Spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional growth complement each other and as such, the integration of all these aspects of development is fostered through the College's curriculum.
St Dominic's Priory College has an outstanding reputation as a learning organisation. There is a strong and continuing tradition of academic and pastoral excellence, which prepares students well for their SACE requirements and post school options.
At St Dominic's Priory College we are committed to guiding our students to learnings which interest them, challenge their thinking and reward their achievements.
This College offers a wide and balanced range of learning areas and subjects at Primary, Middle and Senior levels of the schooling.
The curriculum in the Primary school is sensitive to the learning processes of children in their early years. The aim in the middle years (Years 6-10) is to provide exposure to a comprehensive educational experience. In the senior years (Years 11-12) the scope and variety of subjects cater for individual differences and diverse vocational goals, preparing students for successful lifelong learning.
