Fete Gratitude

Our dedicated team of Parent Convenors have taken time to thank the many businesses, donors and people that have supported a stall and, ultimately, the 2019 Fete & Auction.  Thank you to all and enjoy the read in the week 4 Bulletin.

  • The City of Adelaide is seeking feedback in relation to the new parking controls that currently affect the St Dominic’s Priory College community.  The consultation period closes 5:00pm Monday 18 November.  More information visit: http://yoursay.cityofadelaide.com.au/nth-adl 

  • Growth Mindset Day in the Primary School, who are also looking forward to welcoming their new 2020 classmates to Move Up Day later this week.

  • Year 10 Commerce students ran their own ‘Business for a Day’, raising $1000 for the Christmas Vinnies Appeal and Dare 2 Dream Foundation.

  • Stage 1 General Mathematics participate in a workshop at Flinders University recently, which emphasised the importance of mathematical learning and reasoning, and how it is of benefit to a wide range of professions.

  • Year 10 Geography have returned from their fieldwork visit to Kangaroo Island

Upcoming Dates:

  • Year 11 Drama production of ‘Amelia Bradshaw Turns Eight!‘ is this Friday, 8 November.  Doors open 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.  Tickets ($10/$5) at the door.

  • Year 12 Visual Arts Exhibition opens Tuesday 12 November – details inside the Bulletin.

  • Parents & Friends Meeting: 6:45pm Wednesday 20 November, to be followed by the final Fete meeting for 2019 from 7:30pm.  All welcome.

  • End of Year Mass will be held on Tuesday 3 December, for Year 3 – Year 12 students and their families.  All students will be dismissed at 2:30pm on this day, with a late start of 9:30am scheduled for Wednesday 4 December.

  • An End of Year Liturgy for Rec to Year 2 students will be held at 9:00am Thursday 5 December.  Families of these students are also welcome to attend.
