We all benefit from being part of a connected community – especially our students. The Parents and Friends Association are a vital part of that community here at St Dominic’s. They work together to promote a sense of support and belonging and to actively better the wellbeing and engagement of our girls.
How to get involved
The Association supports our girls through community activities, social gatherings and fundraising. You can choose to get involved in a way that suits your schedule – whether that’s helping out for an hour on Sports Day, organising a stall at our Fete, or raising funds to contribute to new or improved facilities or learning equipment.
All parents are welcome to attend Parents & Friends meetings held once a term and advertised in advance in the weekly College Newsletter. You will meet some great people, forge new friendships and help make our college community the best it can be for our girls.
A few of the events supported by the Parents & Friends Association:
- Family Mass (second Sunday in February)
- Sports Day
- Games Night
- Chocolate Drive
- Fete & Auction (last Sunday in October)
