The Week 3 Bulletin is full of news:
With our Year 6/7s currently on Camp, Cross Country scheduled for Thursday and Gala Day happening Friday, Term 3 is gaining momentum!
In this week’s Bulletin, we welcome the visit, on Monday, of 28 students and teachers from four Dominican schools in Indonesia. There are also many contributions from students and staff; featuring news from the Year 3 Digital Technology Class, STEMSEL Inventors Club, Irish Dancing World Championships, SAPSASA Knockout Netball and Year 9 Science.
Today’s Bulletin also features a report from last week’s Combined Schools Careers Expo, a joint initiative of St. Dominic’s Priory College, Blackfriars Priory School and Wilderness School; ably hosted this year by Wilderness. Congratulations and well done to the staff of the three schools that worked together to coordinate this successful biennial event; particularly Ms Caroline Rocco and Mrs Deb Cleggett at Wilderness, Mr Andrew Whiteman at Blackfriars and Ms Alice Kleinig and Ms Danielle Nicolas here at St. Dominic’s. We thank our Year 10-12 students for their excellent attendance, especially our Prefects for their assistance on the night. The College community is grateful to the many industry professionals who gave so generously their time and expertise to our students on the night. The next combined schools careers event will be hosted by Blackfriars in 2018 and we look forward to the continued support.
