We congratulate our recipients of the Mary MacKillop Award for Excellence
We celebrate the success of our poets, of whom 15 were published and 3 named award winners, at the annual Spring Poetry Festival. This is more than any other school in the state; so well done, girls!
Our Primary Classes are looking forward to Growth Mindset Day on Friday and Move Up Day, next week.
The Year 4 and Year 6 Classes recently took part in the 'Aussie Backyard Bird Count'.
Year 11 Drama Production of 'Amelia Bradshaw Turns 8!' is announced... and you are all invited to her birthday party on Friday 8 November. Tickets at the door from 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

The Week 2, Term 4 Bulletin is available online now.
ROSTERS are now being finalised. On the day, please check in directly with your nominated Stall, or, if you are unsure, drop by the Information Desk outside the Gym - a copy of all stall rosters will be there. On behalf of the Parent Convenors, College Staff, and your daughters... THANK YOU for being a part of this community effort.
ART UNION RAFFLE: Raffle books - sold or unsold - MUST be returned to the College Office no later than this Friday 25 October. Additional tickets will be available for sale at (all) gates on Fete Day; with the cash prizes being drawn that afternoon.
AUCTION: The Live Auction Catalogue is available online here and was distributed to the College community last week. Doors in the Hall open at 11am on Sunday. Be sure not to miss the SILENT AUCTION, running currently to the live event - final (silent) auction bids close at 2pm.
CAKES & AFTERNOON TEA: Any donation of cakes or other baked goods would be much appreciated. These can be dropped off to the College Reception on Friday or else delivered to the Hall (Cakes) or 9B Classroom (Atfernoon Tea) on Sunday morning. Please note that we cannot accept any item that requires refrigeration (i.e cheesecakes, items with fresh cream / fruit) and, also, ensure that an ingredients slip is attached (see the back page of the latest Bulletins).
MONDAY LATE START: There will be a late start to classes on Monday 28 October. School will begin at 10:50am sharp. However, any students who are not at the Fete are expected to arrive at school at the normal time. They will be supervised in the Library.
FETE EVENT PAGE: Be sure to mark yourself as 'going' or 'interested' on the Fete & Auction Facebook Event Page to keep up to date with further Fete information.
We turned PINK on Friday 18 October, to show support in the fight to cure breast and gynaecological cancers. $640 was raised and donated to the Cancer Council.
The Year 5 & 6 students are back from CAMP, with stories to tell!
The Year 3 Class have been learning about DIVERSITY.
The Year 9 Italian Classes have been immersed in Italian culture; attending the Lavazza Italian Film Festival.

There are just 11 more sleeps until the 2019 Fete & Auction on Sunday 27 October. This week's Bulletin includes a Fete Poster for the College Community to share amongst friends, family and local community. It will also be available to "like" and "share" via the Fete & Auction Facebook Event Page. As we enter the final preparations for this parent-led family event, please note the following:
Parent Roster: Many stalls are struggling to fill afternoon spots. If you have not already done so, please consider joining a roster either online or via the reply slip in today's Bulletin.
Art Union Raffle: books are due back by Friday 25 October.
Auction Catalogue: is coming home with the eldest daughter this week and will also be available online.
The Week 1 Fete Appeal is $2 for BBQ.
Information about the SRC's Pink Day fundraiser, to be held on Friday 18 October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Independence Day in the Primary School will be on a Tuesday in Term 4, starting 22 October.

There are some important things to note in this week's Bulletin:
The College telephone and front office will not be available during week 1 of the holidays. This will not impact
- Year 12 study sessions
- Year 11 Drama rehearsals
- access to the Uniform Shop during its advertised opening hours.
Term 3 Reports and NAPLAN results (where applicable) will be distributed on the final day of term, Friday 27 September. Students not present on this day (including Year 10 Work Experience students) will be able to collect their report in WEEK 1, TERM 4. Reports will not be available for collection over the holidays.

The Uniform Shop will be open as follows:
Monday 30 September 10:00am - 2:00pm
Wednesday 2 October 10:00am - 2:00pm
Thursday 3 October 10:00am - 2:00pm
Saturday 5 October 10:00am - 2:00pm
NOTE: It will not be possible to reach the Uniform Shop via phone during these times, as the College Office will be closed.
Parents & Friends Chocolate Drive: The Accounts Office wish to advice that any unsold chocolates must be returned by tomorrow, Thursday 26 September, otherwise accounts will be charged with $60.
Classes will end at the NORMAL DISMISSAL TIME on Friday 27 September. We wish all members of our College community an enjoyable, safe and restful break!
