End of Year 2019 - the Countdown Begins

End of Year 2019 - the Countdown Begins

This week's Bulletin is particularly important, as it aims to communicate key points, so that we are well placed for the Year 3-12 End of Year Mass of Thanksgiving, to take place on Tuesday 3 December.

This is a special celebration, as we gather to give thanks to God for the year that was.  While we understand that not every family at the College is a church goer, we hope to have full participation in our Liturgy, as prayer and connecting to one's own spirituality does not discriminate.

Also inside:

  • The very hot temperature last Wednesday did not stop the Reception - Year 5 classes and their families from having a great Twilight Assembly
  • The final Primary Assembly for 2019 was capably hosted by the Year 6 class.  On Thursday 28 November, the Year 6 Class will gather to mark their graduation from the Primary School, with a family BBQ Graduation Dinner.
  • The 2019 Vinnies Christmas Appeal is in full swing and we are grateful to all families for their contributions.
  • The Second-hand Book Sale, selling Year 11 & 12 2020 texts will be on Tuesday 3 December for current Year 10 and 11 students.  Outgoing Year 11 & 12 students who wish to sell their texts will need to drop their books off to the Library by Monday morning.
  • Please pay particular attention to special dismissal times on Tuesday 3 December and Friday 6 December, as well as a late start on Wednesday 4 December.
