Our Connected Lives

It was good to see such a big crowd at last Friday Night’s Dare2Dream Wine and Cheese tasting evening; a very successful event socially and financially for the youth in Nagpur.

We hope that this coming Friday night will see another socially successful event hosted by the Parents and Friends, viz., the Black and White Quiz Night.  It would be great to get at least two more parent tables.  It is possible to pay at the door, but please let us know that you are booking a table.  Sincere thanks to those parents who have booked as well as staff and students who have taken a table.  This is not really a big fund raiser but a “fun raising” chance to meet and share a night with people while attempting to find some correct answers to the Quiz Master’s questions!  Come on in and sign up!

Coming up also is the Old Scholars Luncheon on Sunday August 27 at the Barton’s Restaurant.  Bookings and payments of $30 with further details can be made at the school office.

  • Pot Planting Morning is coming up on Saturday 26 August from 9am.  Please enter via the Barnard Street Driveway.

  • To celebrate the start of Book Week and raise funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project, the ‘Write a Book in a Day‘ team will be hosting a BOOK SWAP on Monday 21 August.  Please donate any unwanted books that are still in good condition by Friday 18 August.  On the day of the swap, books will be on sale for $2 to those who did not bring a book in, or $1 to those who did.  Any unsold books will be donated to the Book Stall at this year’s Fete.
