For Parent Notice Boards

Term 3 brings us right into some peak moments on the field, on the stage, and in the fun of the Primary Book Week parade.  Highlights in this week’s Bulletin include:

  • The great achievement of the Year 12 Drama Production Ruby Moon.  The heart wrenching story was made more compelling by our memories real life stories of missing children in Australia.

  • Book Week had its own special happenings.  Perhaps the most colourful and engaging was the Book characters Parade held in the Gym last Wednesday.  Once in costume children do “Escape to Everywhere.

  • Sporting Victories were quite numerous as the winter season came to an end.  We congratulate every student who has made regular sports team participation part of their week.

  • The winners of the Harry Bell Memorial Art Competition have been announced and the Multi-Arts Faculty is proud to announce that two of our Year 9 students have been awarded prizes.  See inside the Bulletin for more details!

  • There’s news from LOTE this week, with Year 11 Italian enjoying a tasting tour of Italian imported products at Il Mercato and a special introduction from our visiting French Exchange Student

  • Year 8s participated in ‘Write a Book in a Day‘ in support of Children’s Cancer Research

  • Stage 1 Religion makes ‘big change with little change’ as part of their studies on TEAR Australia
