Term 3 Begins…

2007 Old Scholars Reunion

Last Saturday afternoon was a special occasion for numbers of the 2007 Year 12s who gathered for a tour of their alma mater.  It was a wonderful experience of reconnecting.

Parents & Friends’ Quiz Night – Friday 18 August

Tickets for the 2017 Parents & Friends’ Quiz Night are now available to purchase online here.  Either book a seat at a table at random, or let your friends know what table you’re on so they can join you.

Important Requests

As we kick off the 2017 Fete Appeal season, and look ahead to next month’s Parents & Friends Quiz Night fundraiser, this week’s Bulletin is full of important requests:

  • Next Wednesday, August 2 is the night of the Term 3 Parents & Friends Meeting (at 7pm) and Fete Committee Meeting (from 7:45pm).  Whether you are a regular attendee, or are simply curious, we welcome you all.

  • Fete Convenors: Every few years, as many of our outgoing Parent Convenors reach the final year of their daughter’s education, we lose a key number of vital helpers and leaders.  We are quite desperately in need of your help in 2017.  Please see inside the Bulletin for more information, or drop by next week’s meeting, to learn more about joining a group which has a wonderful bond and strong leadership role in the College.

  • Auction Items: If you have NEW or UNUSED items that might be appropriate for inclusion in the Auction at Fete, the College Office would very gratefully accept your contributions.  Not sure if we could use it?  See the back page of today’s Bulletin for a list of ideas.

  • Weekly Fete Appeals: The Week 1 Fete Appeal is for second-hand books for our BOOKS STALL and $2 donation towards supplies for the CRAFT STALL.  As in previous years, families are welcome to submit the monetary component of the Term 3 Fete Appeals ‘all-at-once’See inside the Bulletin for more information on how  to do this.

  • The Parents & Friends Quiz Night Committee would be very grateful for any donations of Chocolate, Wine(s) or any other items appropriate for inclusion in prize basketsSee the back page of the Bulletin for details.
