Welcome to St Dominic's Priory College

We welcome your interest in St Dominic's Priory College established in 1884 in North Adelaide by the English Dominican Sisters.

The College offers girls from Reception to Year 12 a distinctive, high quality educational experience within the Catholic Faith tradition. The holistic education offered is supportive of the families with whom we share our role, and respectful of each student's unique qualities, needs and aspirations.

Nationally, we are affiliated with Dominican schools in Australia, and internationally we share the charism of Dominican Schools, Colleges and Universities around the world. This Dominican tradition is based in a love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a respect and enthusiasm for learning in all its branches. Veritas / Truth is the motto which unites us.

Our enrolment profile is richly diverse by birth, culture and ethnicity. It offers for each student an opportunity to interact with, and learn from, each other's perspectives on a daily basis, and gives added impetus for a real understanding of Gospel justice. St. Dominic's students consistently achieve academic results which are second to none. In a variety of careers they go on to make a significant contribution to the community.

The adoption by St. Dominic's Priory College of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) is a decision which reflects our belief in its global perspective. The MYP acknowledges the importance of enquiry as a basis of learning. The IB MYP "Profile of the Learner" aligns well with our Christian Vision and Values.

Enjoy your tour of this website. Our Enrolment Office welcomes further queries you may have and invites you to book in for a Tour of the College Campus.
